Amanda Leigh Corbett

Amanda Leigh Corbett is an actress, dancer, and graphic designer based in the DC area (though she frequents NYC). She is a recent graduate of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (SFT), where she obtained her AOS in Film & Television Performance.

Before her time at NYCDA, she received acting training at Destination Broadway (directed by Emmy Award Winner Michael Rafter), and at the Metropolitan Fine Arts Center under the MONSTER pre-professional training program taught by Depaal Devendra Doshi and Danilo Stapula.

Amanda recently became the newest member of The Blockheads: Young Artists Collective, and is thrilled to be surrounded by artists who are just as excited to create as she is.

Some of her favorite performances include singing with Tony Award Winner Sutton Foster at Destination Broadway, and performing her role as a 'Dynamite' and dance captain in The Little Theatre of Alexandria's production of "Hairspray".

When Amanda isn't acting, she enjoy's reading (especially Harry Potter!), writing, and graphic design. You can see some of her work at amandacorbettart.com.
